PM Modi thanks Virat Kohli for his 'powerful gesture'

PM on Friday thanked India Test captain Virat Kohli for his part in making ‘My Clean India’ initiative a success. Modi shared a tweet post, wherein he said that he had seen Kohli taking part in a cleanliness drive. “Dear @imVkohli, saw your #MyCleanIndia moment on @abpnewstv. A small but powerful gesture that will surely inspire everyone,” he wrote. Kohli and the Indian team joined BCCI president Anurag Thakur in a clean-up drive at the historic Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata during India-New Zealand second Test match. Kohli, in reply, thanked Modi and said, “We all are trying to make a difference for the betterment of our country. Led in an inspirational way by you.”
