A school bus carrying students heading for a private school in Baseri village in Laksar Tehsil collided with roadside trees, resulting in minor injuries to eight children on Thursday morning. Police hinted that the carelessness of the driver might have caused the accident.
The Laksar police station house officer Y S Badhauria said, “There were around 30 children riding in the school bus. The village roads are not too good. While taking a turn, the bus skidded off the motor road and struck the roadside trees.”
It is learnt that the school bus of North Hill Public School of Baseri in Laksar had rammed into roadside trees near Malakpur village. Eye- witnesses said that had the bus overturned a major mishap could have happened.
